Includes but is not limited to a representation (painting, sculpture,  garden, design, video, and/or experience) that evokes the innate capacity to create and appreciate art that deepens our understanding of and relationship with the natural world.

Biophilic Art is a combination of two words: Biophilia and Art. When combined, it describes a style of art that seeks ethical, sustainable, and sensitive approaches to creative experiences, new ways of thinking, and problem-solving that includes human and non-human living biological organisms as well as natural and built environments.

Its practice is viewed as a style of art or design that taps into our innate affinity and attraction to nature and creative thinking and actions.
