La Puerta is a sustainable project built from rammed earth and bronze.

Over 200 community members from a high-risk neighborhood joined the process to create 'keys to the community' for the 14-foot doorway of opportunity.  Each key was accompanied by a personal story about its meaning which Rebecca compiled for a book about the project which was then donated to the local libraries. Her aim was to inspired youth and provide a piece of art that the participants will be proud of 50 years or more from its installation.
