Creating Biophilic Solutions for Vulnerable Populations

"I appreciated Dr. Thompson's determination to help GAP Ministries bring the beauty and sustainability of God’s creations into an urban area that was nothing more than bricks, mortar, steel, and asphalt. Her Urban Eden landscaping project beautifies our Campus of Hope and will remain a blessing to our city for years to come because of the more than 40 fruit and nut trees and dozens of herbs planted throughout the campus. Thank you, Rebecca, for helping us honor all those we serve."

"Artistic flair"

“Rebecca’s artistic flair is reflected in her gardens. I thought our garden was perfect until Rebecca came for a consultation.  She did some pruning, shifted some pots, re-arranged some furniture  and suddenly we had an inviting new garden perspective.”

Brad Soland

"key partner"

Rebecca is one of the key partners we have worked with over the last six years in our museum's education programs. As a public artist with expertise in Biophilic Art & Design, she has strengthened our workshops for university students, student-athletes, patients, and medical care providers. She brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and understanding to designing intentional spaces and experiences centered on health and wellbeing.

Lisa Abia-Smith, Director of Education and Senior Instructor for the University of Oregon Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art

"dynamic materials"

"Rebecca comes up with challenging designs that are fun to see visualized in dynamic materials. Her inclusion of night lighting captures the interest of people who normally might never notice sculpture."
